Avocado Fuerte

The original California avocado is one of the most cold-tolerant varieties, capable of withstanding temperatures as low as 27°F. Its medium-sized fruit offers a rich, nutty flavor. This variety has Type B flowers, so for optimal production, plant it near a Type A variety such as 'Stewart' or 'Reed.' It is grafted onto Zutano rootstock and is an evergreen tree.
